You are right. But do you know how contact application set keyboard in proper mode. Without this WM_KEYDOWN or WM_CHAR gets rubbish. For example on HTC s710 qwerty keybord, key "s/*" sends 0x77, digit+letter keys send digits - should send letters for proper matching - total mess. I'll be grateful for help.

I have a French C600 which is applicaiton locked.

After I install Regedit from the source you mentiond but When I try to run regedit it says

"Access denied. The program cannot start because it is not signed by a trusted certificate"

Anybody know where I can get a C600 regedit or a SuperCID.

Hi,

This sounds promising, and it works for one-off tests. But it doesn't work for a debug cycle from Visual Studio, for me.

One obvious problem for example is that resetting the device emulator causes Visual Studio to lose its debug connection to it.

So Amit, how do you get around this? How do you enter Visual Studio Debug mode for network apps using the device emulator hooked up to the cellular emulator?

I've tried it and it sometimes succeeds if I:
 a) open project in visual studio
 b) hit F5 to start debugging
 c) start cellular emulator quickly
 d) do debug session
 e) close device emulator
 f) fully exit cellular emulator
 g) make code changes, then go to b)

Often the device emulator still can't connect to the cellular one.

I'm using VS2008, C++, WM 6.1.4 emulator packs.

Any tips?

Derek.
